User and programmer transitions
Users do not have to be retrained in the Nucleus environment, and are usually comfortable by the end of the first day. Programmers skilled in supporting System Builder applications can often be up to speed in a few weeks.
The transition for the programmer from System Builder to Nucleus is short. Nucleus programmers can be productive in less than 24 hours, and achieve expert status within 3 to 6 months. Productivity improvements of 500% or more are not uncommon.
What occurs in a transition
The migration to Nucleus converts definitions initially made in the System Builder environment and re-defines a new command set, using industry standard syntax, understood by the Nucleus environment.
