NuQwiki™
MV data management and the web browser

Fort Lauderdale, Florida, January 9, 2009
Binary Star Development Corporation has announced the availability of the NuQwiki™ data manager which enables controlled retrieval AND UPDATE of MultiValue data from within a web browser, according to rules encapsulated on the host system.
According to Lee Bacall, President of Binary Star - the developers of Nucleus Technology™, "We have taken a giant leap forward with NuQwiki™. We've made it incredibly easy to deploy and maintain secure and reliable web applications that can both read and update MultiValue (extended relational) data AND follow host-based rules.
With NuQwiki™, Data display, reporting and update forms are all supported. The result of a command executed on the host - can be transparently embedded within the NuWiki browser format. LIST, SORT, LIST-ITEM, CT, etc., or execute cataloged programs and transparently embed the result in the NuWiki format. The syntax is concise and easy to understand."

Lee added, "Unlike most commercial Wiki packages in the market today, NuQwiki™ runs entirely inside the MultiValue environment, enabling Pick / MultiValue / U2 shops to leverage existing talent without a huge learning curve."
"NuWiki is now much more than an effective collaborative tool for managing documentation. It's now a remarkably easy way to deploy secure and easily manageable web applications from a MultiValue platform and do it NuWikiQuick™."
NuQwiki™ can be seen and experienced at NuWiki.com. No registration is required to visit, but is required to access the secure NuQwiki™ demo applications. And just like all of the public Wikis, all changes and revisions to topics are logged and libraried in the event that a rollback to a previous version is ever necessary.
NuQwiki™ data and content management is available on private hardware either accessible from the web or behind a firewall, for sites running the IBM UniVerse database on AIX, linux or Windows server platforms for under $15,000.00. Support for other extended relational databases (Pick / MultiValue) including Reality X, QM Professional, D3 and IBM UniData is expected soon.
NuQwiki™ security, change and audit controls provide key components for ensuring compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley, HIPAA and other regulatory agencies
