Binary Star Development introduces MvLaser which will enable any MultiValue application to print forms on a Laser printer.

MvLaser, a revolutionary new product from Binary Star Development will enable the Multi-Value software developer to create and print custom forms on any PCL5 / PCL6 HP compatible laser printer, without the use of "windows" tools.

MvLaser is an API, or Application Programming Interface which allows the programmer using simple BASIC subroutine calls to control the functions of a laser printer without having to worry about complex escape sequences required by laser printers.

MvLaser offers the developer, complete programmatic control over the creation and printing of almost any form that a business may require. MvLaser allows you to reduce your dependency on the form supplier and begin printing your own custom forms on inexpensive plain paper. Any Pick print procedure can now produce printinted output that looks as if it were typeset.

You will never have to change forms in a printer again. Reduce the number of printers required in your business because all forms can now be printed on one laser printer! Eliminate running out of invoices, purchase orders, shipping tickets or any printed form.

MvLaser provides all the tools required to print attractive and attention getting custom forms directly from your MultiValue environment, and includes an extensive library of commands, subroutines and utilities to help you create and print your own forms. MvLaser will print postal bar codes, numerous typefaces ranging from 4 point up to 8" tall, graphic boxes, lines of variable width, shading and more.
