At this time we try to determine:

A broad definition of the assignment and expected results

The information gathering methodology

Logical phases (where practical)

Approximate time frame, and budget allocation to accomplish client goals

At this initial point, there is no obligation on either side. Once gathered, the above information helps us to determine if we can do the job and whether we can do it properly in the time available within the targeted budget.

When appropriate, the details and results of this discussion are confirmed in a written proposal outlining:

Suggested approach

Type and the extent of the client's involvement

Organization of the work

Expected results.

Estimated time and cost

There is no obligation on the part of the client, until our proposal is accepted.

During each assignment, periodic updates will be given. At least one interim review will summarize our findings to date, and at that time we will discuss any modifications in the direction of the project. Upon completion of our work, our findings and recommendations will be reported to client management, normally in the form of a briefing presentation.
